Holland

3rd April 2009, we shot off to a Travelodge near Harwich. We spent a night there before we pushed off to Harwich Port. A journey with Stena Line to Hoek van Holland was pleasant. After a while we felt dizzy and decided to rent a cabin. 2 bed cabin cost us GBP28. And the rest of our journey was spent in the cabin. It took 7 hours to reach Hook of Holland.

Hoek van Holland to Duinrell was 45 minutes drive. Quite a big and happening park. We were supposed to travel in a group of 4 families. But unfortunately, Badri can't make it because his Indonesian helper, didn't have a multiple entry visa. So he decided to send her back to Birmingham and boarded the next day's ferry

We settled down in a so called 'luxury tent'. Got everything need to a life, (fridge and cooker) except a toilet. But they provided a very clean and big toilet. Lucky me, the only thing was, it was quite far from our tent. But it was ok.

The first night was raining. It was very cold. The next day we started our tour and went to Rotterdam

So the picture tell about our journey to Rotterdam

And then in the afternoon, to Madurodam, The Hague

The next day, to Zaanse Schans

Volendam Fishing Village

And later in the evening we cruised the Amsterdam canals. Thank you very much to our tour guide, En F. But sorry to everyone, I don't have his permission to publish his photo
