The Beginning

Alhamdulillah !



At last, I got the visa today, Wednesday, Nov 14, 2007. UK here we come. M glad to join Malaysian Society in Birmingham. Thanks to all of you in UK especially A, SN, CG, WF, K A & family, my in laws and my brother, for all the efforts you have put in, during these nearly 3 months. From house hunting, house equipment, requirement for UK Visa application, school registration, airport arrangement, doa, hope, and tawakal. It's a wonderful experience. It's like giving birth, we sacrifice, we think that is the last we would tolerate, but all the suffering gone after we saw the baby. hi hi hi (mind my English, I'm learning)

As for my family in Malaysia, cousins, friends, all the effort and thought were highly appreciated

Nov 16, 2007, is our travel time. We bring 9 begs and 7 hand luggage with the total weight 240kgs. But at the MAS counter we found out that the ticket we bought only allowed 20kgs per person. What a mess. We have to left back 75kg and it will cost us nearly RM8000.00 just for excess baggage. After nego the staff allow us to bring up to 210kgs for free. Alhamdulillah.

We arrived at Schipol Airport at 5:40 AM. We met 3 Malaysians family going to UK also but different parts. What a wonderful moment.

There is a place for any religious to pray. It's a very nice big hall and most of the space is for Muslim to pray with a lot of Sejadah, Quran and Books. Below is in front of the place.

We transit at Schipol at about 6 hours. It's really a long time for us. I spend 10 minutes doing chair massage and it cost me EURO16.50.

We arrived at Birmingham International Airport at about 6:05 AM. We are the last passenger to leave aircraft. It's esierfor us to do that as we don't want to take other people time waiting for us

There is 2 Indians female officers at the immigration. They ask for everything from us. But luckily, there is an English Officer, I think he is their boss. The officer just ask us whether we are a Malaysian Gov Sponsor. We said YES. Than he didn't ask any other Q.

Our baggage also not checked.
